You know it. ^^ But my vocab is limited (i.e. I can say some greetings, some swears, and a ton of song lyrics).

Hehe^^ I know what you mean. I know a lot of words BUT I lack the grammatical knowledge ;__; ... that´s why I WOULD be able to say what I want, but only in form of throwing some words at people without paying attention to the grammar XDDD
Like: "Watashi ringo taberu" "I apple to eat" XDDD

Ok that was a easy sentence and of course I know how it should be written, but as soon as the sentence get´s more complicated I REALLY have problems with the Japanese grammar ^^' ... I also think that it´s very difficult to conjugate the verbs .. you REALLY have to learn that (x___x;) ... and I have forgotten almost everything !!! *sigh*

It´s similar to the Spanish verb conjugation, but more complicated ! You wouldn´t be able to use Spanish grammar properly if you can´t remember how to conjugate the verbs right ? ^^ and it´s the same with Japanese :)
AAAHH I´m talking too much XDDDD

Yeah, I hate not knowing the grammar. I still have problems in Spanish class. - -;;

I've heard that in Japanese, there's only the future/present tense and then the past tense. Is that true? I know Spanish has upwards of fifteen, at least, so I was surprised to hear that about Japanese.

Oh, and don't short-sell yourself! ^^ Learning any language is hard; the fact that you know even some of the words is awesome!

I´m not too sure about the tenses in Japanese, but it´s true that there are only a few forms ! If you only look at that fact Japanese is definitely easier than Spanish, but there are other difficult things in the Japanese language ^^; ... *sigh* （；´д｀）ノ

Yeah, I think I understand. First, there's the whole kanji thing you have to memorize. Then the honorifics (not too bad, I've got those down). But Japanese is just so different compared to English. Spanish you've got cognates, at least, but the way the sentences are set up and the way the words are formed...just a whole different ballpark.

However, I do agree that learning a different language is fun. I'm looking forward to the challenge!

It´s about becoming a flight attendant! It´s very cute and interesting ^^ And dramas with Aya and Ryo in it just CAN´T be that bad, believe me ;)

Yeah that´s true !
English and other European languages (like German, French, Spanish etc.) have a very similar sentence structure, right ? But Japanese is VEEERY different compared to them :/ ... it´s interesting and fun to learn, but also difficult ε＝ε＝ε＝ε＝ε＝ε＝ε＝（ノ*´Д｀）ノ

Yes! And one of the things I enjoy when learning new languages is finding out the culture behind certain words and customs. For instance, many of the "al" words in Spanish came from the moorish invaders. ^^ The Japanese language has all of this history behind their words and customs, and I'm interested to learn more about it. Like I found out the other day the reason anime guys get nosebleeds. ^^;; Do you know that story?

Yes I know what you mean :) I guess I know more about the Japanese culture than about the actual language (^^;) ...
Well I know what the nosebleed means *coughs*, but I have no idea where it comes from ?!? XD

I think it was just Wikipedia. ^^;; I know it's a terrible source of information, but either everything is more or less accurate or it's terribly off to the point where it's obvious. There was this one time I was trying to read up on Fullmetal Alchemist and I found an article on Wikipedia that cracked me up. It had really random ways the characters died. ^^

Yeah, Vegeta is one of those characters ya just gotta love. He's so mean, but so cool!
