[Japan Travel]: Ise
It's time for the next travel entry!! (*___*)v

First of all, though, I want to thank all of you who replied to my last entry!!! I really appreciate your advice, suggestions and help A LOT!!!

While my brother was still exploring Tokyo all by himself I went on a daytrip on Monday (August, 9th) to Ise.
Ise is a city in Mie prefecture and is probably most famous for its Ise Shrine, but also for Meoto Iwa (= two huge rocks in the ocean that represent the bond between husband and wife). You'll see tons of pictures of both later on, so enjoy!~

Ise (August 9th, 2010):

Welcome to Ise! )

More trees! XD )

I headed straight to the castle while the weather got worse and worse :(
But the castle itself was extremely beautiful!!! It's the Azuchi Castle, reconstructed!!! The original doesn't exist anymore (only ruins are left). The original can be found in Shiga prefecture.

And now off to Meoto Iwa!!~ )

Next will be: Okazaki
Hope you're looking foward to it.

Thanks for reading!
