I know exactly what you mean x___X But sometimes Japanese live action movies are not really any better. I was really disappointed with the Nana movies (esp. the actress of Nana Komatsu in Nana2), so it's not like only Hollywood produces crap XD .... and some series just are not MEANT to be turned into a live action anyway XD
