I think it is understandable to feel the way you do. Even though people say we like being alone, I still believe social comfort is important to us. I feel that once you go back/visit Germany, you will be able to pick up where you left off. Everyone changes over time and thats not a bad thing. If she is your true friend, she will stick by you no matter what and if she doesn't then move on. Your an awesome person and I am sure you can make more friends! Sometimes we just got to put ourselves out there in uncomfortable settings to meet new people. >.<
You may perhaps feel the way you do either: a) you need more challenges in your life b) the excitement of being in Japan is wearing off OR c) maybe you need a change of scenery whether that be going back to Germany or perhaps moving to Tokyo. These are of course all assumptions, but no worries it's okay to have your down days. Cheer up, ne?! ^----^ <3
