I never noticed the shindo 1 and 2 quakes around me, so I don't count them.
I have never experienced a 3, but this 4 was pretty bad.
I guess not only the magnitude, but also the nature of the quake (vertical vs. horizontal shaking etc.) determine how we feel it?
