[Vacation at Home]: Castles, lakes and 3 peaks in 1 day
Heyho~
Here is the last entry featuring photos of my 2 weeks' vacation back home where I only did 6 day trips, not leaving the country at all (corona compliant
).

While I stayed within the country, during this trip I was only a few steps (like literally!) away from the Austrian border.
Pictured above you see the "Lechfall" in Füssen. The colors are AMAZING!
One reason is that the water is so cold that certain microorganisms can't live in the river which usually would color the lake in the typical colors.
The other reason is that it's origin is in the mountains and along the entire way it's taking in a lot of minerals, also causing that amazing color.

If I had started my trip earlier, I could have explored a few more peaks, but that was quite nice and enough for one day.
While hiking down, I met a guy about my age from a city that's about 2.5h away who just came over for a day trip as he really wanted to hike.
That's the nice thing about hiking alone, you get to know people from time to time. :)

Thanks for reading.
Bye~chuu!~
