[Vacation at Home]: Castles, lakes and 3 peaks in 1 day

Heyho~

Here is the last entry featuring photos of my 2 weeks' vacation back home where I only did 6 day trips, not leaving the country at all (corona compliant ).

While I stayed within the country, during this trip I was only a few steps (like literally!) away from the Austrian border.
Pictured above you see the "Lechfall" in Füssen. The colors are AMAZING!
One reason is that the water is so cold that certain microorganisms can't live in the river which usually would color the lake in the typical colors.
The other reason is that it's origin is in the mountains and along the entire way it's taking in a lot of minerals, also causing that amazing color.

If I had started my trip earlier, I could have explored a few more peaks, but that was quite nice and enough for one day.
While hiking down, I met a guy about my age from a city that's about 2.5h away who just came over for a day trip as he really wanted to hike.
That's the nice thing about hiking alone, you get to know people from time to time. :)

[Vacation at home]: A few more nice daytrips and some hiking

Hello again

My vacation ended a week ago, but I still need to catch up with all the photos.
During my vacation of 2 weeks I managed to do 6 day trips. Not that much, but the weather was very moody the entire time and it looks like the entire summer is going to be like that this year.

I'm very happy to see that you all enjoy my photos so much. Thanks a lot for all the nice comments on my last few entries.
More photos can be enjoyed on my Instagram account.

Crossing path with cows again. You can see the lake in the background again where the famous castles are located. You could see them with your bare eyes, but the smartphone camera is just not good enough to capture it. Should have brought my DSLR. ^^;

Thanks for reading.
Hope you enjoyed the photos again. :)

There's one more entry coming with photos from my vacation day trips. Stay tuned.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

[Vacation]: Mostly UK - 5 countries in 2 weeks

Hi!

I'm finally back from my vacation.
Well, actually I came back a week ago, but you know how busy you are after a vacation.
I also had to sort my photos first.

So, this was my first "group trip" ever.
Usually I always plan individual trips, but this time I just didn't have the time to plan anything and thought it's still better than nothing.
Yes, it's a lot more expensive, especially if you're single. Because you pay for double rooms all the time. *shrugs*

I also thought that only older people (like 60+) would do trips like that and was worried that I'd be the youngest by far.

However, I was COMPLETELY wrong!
The trip was awesome, mainly because of all the great people I got to know during this trip and who were part of the group.
I'll write about them in a separate entry in more detail (f-locked), so stay tuned.

For now, I just want to quickly share my impressions by showing you some photos:

here we go...!! )

Certainly one of the highlights of the trip: Giant's Causeway

The rock formations were quite nice, but it's hard to impress me in that regard. I've seen stuff like that in Japan a hundred times - and often a lot more impressive.
But I've seen the reaction of other people and I guess if you've never seen rock formations like that, it's quite the Wow-effect.

Cathedrals, castles, beautiful landscape!!! )

You can already see the famous Tower Bridge from within the Tower of London. Quite impressive.

Hands down. Would I do it again? )

I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Stay tuned for more.

Bye~chu!
