[Japan Travel]: I'm back from WinterWonderLand❤

I'm back!!!

Thanks for all your nice wishes and comments to my last entry (*____*)v
I hope you all had a good start into 2010? (^-^)

I came back on Friday night, went to bed, got up, had to go to work and today I unpacked my stuff, sorted my 23426234234 photos and stuff.
I feel dizzy, but at least I managed to get rid of the chaos here XD
Saturday at work was horribly busy again, but I'm not gonna talk about work today.

It's almost midnight and I should go to bed soon, but before that I'm gonna post a brief update :)

My winter vacation was great - all over all, BUT I was quite unlucky this time. Weather, new year holidays, JR accidents and other things came into my way, so it was quite stressful, but I love love love LOVE travelling in Japan, so I love my vacations ^-^
Too bad I only have 3 weeks per year, but that makes them all the more special <3
And friends of mine are coming to visit for spring vacation and wanna check details with me soonish, so I have to prepare and plan for that like ... this week (x___X)>
That will be busy, but I'm happy nevertheless :)
I just won't have time to stick around much at LJ etc. - I already sorted my photos, and I'll start posting about my first day with tons of photos ASAP, I promise!

For now, just a short review and conclusion of my winter vacation:
Beppu Fukuoka Kobe Nara Hikone Nagahama Kyoto Osaka

Went to hell. (Hells of Beppu)
I really liked Beppu and wanna go there again, because I didn't have enough time for everything.

Had fun with a lot of animals.

Visited a few more castles (there are still too many on my "to visit" list though XD)

Had a lot of fun in Kobe (*__*)v

Came across a loooooooooot of daibutus (big buddha statues) this time.

Was able to see the "10 million dollar view of Japan" in Kobe from Mt. Maya.

Of course, met a lot of cute cats again.

Fed aggressive, but cute deer in Nara XD

Went to many many many shrines and temples again. Even went 3 times to Hatsumode this year XD
The weather was crazy, I had everything from sunshine to heavy snow - but it always was freezing cold.

And of course I had a looot of yummie food (and fell in love with chanpon (*__*)v)

I think I never spent so much money for a vacation before. I'm not exactly sure if it's really the case or if it just feels like it. At least I rarely used the Shinkansen this time.
But ... I bought waaaaaaaaay too many souvenirs and stuff XDDDD For the first time I also was on a "o-mamori"-trip and bought quite a bunch at the big shrines and temples XDDD Ahem~

So last but not least a few photos of my "souvenirs":

2 new cute hand towels and a plushie cover for my hot water bottle (*_*)v

Key chains, cellphone straps, o-mamori, one of the famous "fude pen" from Nara, bookmarks etc. (only a small selection as not all of 'em would fit into one picture XD)

Some smaller uchiwas. They were so beautiful, so I couldn't resist! (*__*)

2 different trump card sets. One features Japanese castles (good reference for me and sooo beautiful pics!!!), the other one features main sightseeing attractions of Japan.

Some new books, tons of stickers etc. (most of the books are second han => cheap! ^-^)

This is soooo awesome!! I always was looking for something like that!! And you can rotate them (*__*)
Now the tiger is on the "red carpet" of course XD

A whole bunch of other souvenirs (*__*) .... the golden poo I bought on a day after something really shitty happened to me, so I thought that's the perfect thing to buy ATM XDDDD

That really cute handmade thingie I found in a souvenir shop close to a herbal garden on the top of a mountain. I love unique things! Although it was expensive and I probably won't be able to ever get that back home in one piece, I couldn't resist (*__*)v

And just a few hours ago my Mandarake package arrived, too. On my last day I went shopping in Osaka and of course I bought too much again, so that I had them send it to me XDDD

This time it's mainly Katekyo Hitman Reborn (HibarixTsunaxMukuro, SpannerxTsuna).

And also a bunch of other stuff. I also went to the Johnny shop in Osaka for the first time :) No ticket system there that day, so yay (*_*)v
Well, I guess that means I'll update my "sales entry" soon XD

Alright, have to hurry up now and go to bed (x_X)
Am tired like hell anyway. Furthermore my laptop hates me lately. The keyboard is weird as well, but I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware error *sigh*
I guess if I have some time I have to format it yet again and if that doesn't work, it might be time for a new one :/
I also don't think that the weird keyboard problem has to do anything with my small accident a while ago as I've had that problem BEFORE that accident as well ... just not so often.

Anyway, I hope you're all doing fine!!
Sorry that I'm not around much lately.
More photos are coming soon. Stay tuned.

Good night! (つ∀-)オヤスミ

Hey there ^-^
Hope you had a nice winter vacation as well with not too much studying? *hugs*
Chanpon is awesome and perfect for winter as it warms you up. It's cheap and very tasty :D
I wonder why it took me so long to FIND this dish *headdesk*
Most of the zodiac animals I've seen so far were ugly ... or not really cute, but I fell in love with this one instantly :D

Actually it wasn't that many years since I discovered chanpon myself, when I ate a box of harusame chanpon instant noodles I bought in the UK XDDD It sure is yummy though, and just recently I was so happy to discover the brand of ramen-stock people use to make it <3 I'm going to order that and finally make it myself ^_^ although the ultimate experience would be to travel to Nagasaki or some other Japanese place and try the real thing!! ^3^

Even when I was in Nagasaki I didn't know about the existence of chanpon. Fail! XD
