[Review]: Akihabara@Deep Ep.1 (with Toma XD)

So, I finally started to watch Akiba@Deep.
It was on my list for quite a long time now, but there were always dramas I was interested in more and yeah ... but knowing that Toma is in it mysteriously put it on TOP of my to-watch-list XDDDD

Synopsis:
Akihabara is a Tokyo district full of mangas, anime, electronics, video games, figurines, etc. It is a place that gathers fanatics of such themes, people who are commonly referred to as otaku. Page, Box, Akira, Taiko, Daruma, and Izumu are six otaku each with his/her own troubles and sought relief through a website called "Yui’s Lifeguard." When site owner Yui died of a mysterious death, the six who are each experts in their own fields gathered to form "Akihabara@DEEP", a "trouble shooter" group that vows to protect Akihabara and solve the problems of its inhabitants.

Hm, where to start?
A lot of people told me it´s weird. I already knew that after looking at some of the pics, that´s prolly why I haven´t watched it immediately in 2006 XD
Also this drama seems to be much older and not like one of 2006.
But ever since Densha Otoko I really like Akihabara and Otakus XDDDDD~
There are a lot of weirdos in it XD ... and Toma´s one of them. But Toma´s just not THAT weird, he´s not fit to be an otaku anyway XD
It´s more like Takayuki in the Train Man movie. HE WAS TOO HANDSOME and thus nobody believed in his acting, I guess?
It´s different with Toma, because he can be REALLY goofy and stuff, but seeing him among other otakus, he´s definitely NOT otaku-like - luckily <3333

Let´s start with the other otakus in this show:



Page! <3 He´s quite cute as well, although he was getting on my nerves as soon as he started to speak XDDDDD *coughs* (T__T) ....



But he´s still cute! <33 ... but MUCH more otaku-like than Toma if you ask ME! XDDD
Of course Page is Shunsuke which was together with Toma (and Pi XD) in Top4
He´s also the first otaku we see in the show.

But shortly after that .....



YAAAAY Toma appears!!! \(^-^)/ ♥♥♥♥



Somehow he looks like a soccer fan ... I think it´s because of his scarf XDDDD
Anyway .. like I´ve written in my last few (tons of XD) Toma entries: I really think bright colors like yellow, red, green and blue suit him very well. I think the makers of this dramas thought so, too, because (just like in Hanakimi) he seems to be wearing ONLY these colors! XDDD
YAAHOOO!



*lol* I read MONKEY instincts at first. Of course I thought of Nakatsu, who is always called Monkey boy in the manga ;__; (I wonder why they don´t have that in the drama .. yah, yah I know Julia .. -___-)
Oh and his name in this drama is BOX btw. XDDDDDDD WTF? XD But cute <33333
BUT ZOMG HIS EXPRESSION!!!!!



Well, the thing is that some guys/gangs thought it might be funny to hunt otakus in Aikiba and so they do it.
Box and another otaku get caught by them and are beaten up badly. Because of some circumstances Page, Box and Taiko meet.
All of them are otakus and have some kind of tick.
If you don´t want to know yet, skip this please!:
- Page usually doesn´t speak because he´s a stutterer.
- Taiko freezes as soon as he sees blinking (?) things.
- And Box thinks everything around him is filthy and that´s why he tries to keep everything clean. (I don´t know the English word for people like that? XD) But isn´t that the cutest tick by far? (*__*) XDDDDD



Anyway the otaku hunting goes on and after one of the "maids" in a maid café got almost (?) raped they decide to do s.th. against it.
Akira (the girl shown above) wants revenge for her co-worker (btw. she doesn´t look good in a maid outfit, don´t you think? XD).
She wants to go after those guys, but our 3 otakus stop her and tell her that they´ll protect Akiba XDDDD



*lol* XD Together with Akira they form a group called "Akihabara@Deep" and try to stop the otaku hunting with rather funny methods XDDDDD
And while watching the scene where Akira is fighting (yeah, right the only one fighting is TEH girl XD) I really thought I was watching TEKKEN! XDDDD ahahaha~ so stupid (-_-)

Well, that´s more or less what happened in the first episode :)



This guy seems to be the cause of the otaku hunting and YET again I have to hate him ;__; ... I really thought I might like him after Bambino, but .... but ... AAARGH!!! *hits Kazuki*



I´m really biased when it comes to him. But WOAH I think he´s the weirdest one of all in that show XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
And STOP COPYING L YOU BASTARD!! *steals lollipops XD*


Finally:



Now I have to mention that I (for some reason) TOTALLY love guys with band-aids in their face! I TOTALLY LOVE THAT DON´T ASK ME WHY!!!
So can you imagine what happened when I saw our beloved Toma with that????????? (*__________*) *faints multiple times* haaaaa~



Well, that´s it. :)
I can´t say much about the story, but I have a feeling that this is not the best drama I´ve ever watched XDDDDD ... but who cares? Toma is VERY VERY cute in that one and I think I would have fallen for him earlier if I just watched it in 2006 ;___; *headdesk*


And tomorrow we´ll get more Toma love!!! Hanakimi 6 is on its way!! (*___*)

I think the people on my f-list start to hate me for my entries are only about jdramas, especially Hanakimi and with that especially about Toma XDDDD AAAH gomen neeee! ;___; ... XDDD *runs*

Obwohl... nach dem Film. Den dazugehörige Film will ich sogar noch mehr sehen *.* (der hat aber andere Schauspieler glaub ich).

Der Mann ist verblüffend, find ich. So un-glaublich wandelbar! Zuerst aufgefallen ist er mir in Yaoh, und als ich dann nachgegooglet hab, hab ich bemerkt, dass er in nem anderen Film die Hauptrolle gespielt hat, den ich ziemlich gerne mag (Ley Lines), dort aber VÖLLIG anders war. Boah. Und jetzt also ein Otaku *gg* schaut schon wieder total anders aus. Also sich in Rollen reinversetzen, das kann er.

I adore Toma here. But Akira is someone whom you have to be patient with, her acting skills are not so good. This drama's a nice one, the ending sorta-like-the-type-that-you-expect-to-happen-but-it's-different-yet-the-same type. Nicely done. And I love the fact that they are otakus. Watch episode 7 (I think) which is about Toma. I love him there and he's sooo adorable You just wanna hug him on that ep and tell him everything's okay.

I watched 4 + 5 last night -- Toma IS AWESOME!!!! looking forward to more awesomeness. Between his laughs and shun's angst--aw, it was all good.

I actually saw this drama a long time ago, and just now I realized that the one who played Nakagomi Takeshi, was in Bambino O_o
Kazuki's character kind of annoyed me a bit ^_^;;

my friend gave me a copy of this some time ago because she's a toma fan...at first she thought i won't like it because it's a bit weird, but when it comes to jdrama i like different kinds of genre...i really liked this drama, that's why i didn't have any doubts on toma's acting when he was chosen to play nakatsu, he was just so goofy in this one! i'm not a toma fan but he's enjoyable to watch...i really like the the uniqueness of the story, the cast just adds more color to it...wait till you get to episode 7, it's hilarious! my favorite episode!

page's stuttering can be a bit annoying at times...and daruma's cosplaying was very enjoyable

Aw, don't be sorry! The world needs more J-drama posts, especially Toma-centric types. I wonder, did you like him in HYD2? Because I notice some Toma fans didn't, and I just don't get it. He's so beautiful in it, wears a beanie he looks unbelievable in, does the dorky thing so adorably well, and is the bad guy who isn't actually all that bad. I LOVE that type of character. My glasses fetish? Nothing to do with it. *cough*

Anyways, I didn't even know Toma was in this drama! I heard of it, but always got it mixed up with IWGP, which I now see is completely different, lol. I want to watch this, but only for Toma's cuteness, which is impossible to resist ♥

Yay for Hana Kimi episode 6! I am sooo tempted to watch it without subs the moment it's released D:

die erste Folge war langweilig und wären Page und Box nicht so zuckersüß bezetzt hätte ich wohl auch nicht weiter geschaut! aber es lohnt sich auf jedenfall :))
