Hullo~
I have the feeling it's been a while since I posted a non-photo, non-travel related entry? *scratches head*
Well, there you go, but I warn you, because it's been a while this entry is loaded with random stuff like WOAH!!
Where to start?
A rant?
Yeah, let's get that one done first, so we have some time later for more interesting stuff XD
Lately, I wonder what I've been doing. I'm sure some of you remember my rants about "not having enough time to study" / "wanting to have time for other things than study and work" / "getting off the internet some more" / "experiencing Japan some more instead" etc.
Well, I guess this is just a sequel to it. (〃´o｀)=3
I finally have more free time, less time at work. That should give me more time to study Japanese and do other things, right? Right!
But somehow I can't get things done! I haven't been studying properly in ages. A little bit of studying before I bought my camera which was .... a long time ago, right?
I wanted to take N2 in July, but I'm pretty sure I would fail that, so instead of waisting money, I try in December instead. Jesus, I suck so much!
The reason I wanted to work less was that I have more time to study Japanese and what do I do????
The other thing is that lately I've become more interested in photography in general and also want to learn more about that.
My body has been acting up recently. I feel often dizzy and stuff. I know why, though. I need to go out more often, get some fresh air and possibly DO SOME SORT OF SPORT JESUS!!!!!
That all needs time and I don't know where to take that time from. I definitely need to spend less time online, but I don't know where to start.
I sound so pathetic :/
The last 2 days the weather was awesome and what did I do? Sit in front of my laptop the whole day. How lame is that? What am I in Japan for again????

There are so many things I want to do but it seems that (lately = ~ second half of 2009-now) I'm not motivated to do any of them. I wonder why and I want to know what I should do. It just sucks. What's wrong? (x_X)
Any suggestions, kicks in my ass etc. are appreciated although I understand perfeclty well that this is something I need to figure out myself or otherwise I won't be able to succeed.
I think the main reason that my motivation to learn Japanese went down is that I'm now at a level where I comfortably can live in Japan and understand MOST things ooo~okay. There's still a lot I SHOULD learn, though. The learning progress was fast and motivating when I started out in 2008, but has been slowing down ever since then which also is a reason that I'm not that motivated anymore. Plus a lot of old stuff that has to be reviewd again and again which gets boring as well - but still needs to be done.
About going out and do something outside, sport, jogging, just talking a walk with my camera. That's something that always has been a problem, not just since I'm in Japan, but back home my family or friends were there, so naturally I just did something with them. Here that's missing. I need to use some kind of trick to lure me outside.
As for learning about photography. I'm motivated, but I don't know where to start. Just reading about it is boring and trying it out would also mean I have to go outside - which I love doing during my vacation, but during normal weeks, I can't bring myself to do it. I wonder why. And now is such a great time, weatherwise! As soon as it's summer, it will be way too hot to go outside :(
Motivating myself for some kind of sport is the worst, I guess. I danced when I was younger. I did Karate when I was in elementary school. I think dancing would still be fun now, for Karate I'm probably not fit enough.
I loved to perform "Nordig Walking" back in Germany, but nobody in Japan is doing it, so ... I guess the police would try to arrest me if they saw me with ski sticks on the asphalt XD
I live in quite a small city and I DON'T have a car which makes things more difficult as well. Fitness studios are expensive and not close by.
Jogging or joining some kind of group sport activity at the community center would probably make more sense and be cheaper.
Reducing my use of the internet. Well, I wonder how I spent my time until I turned 20 because that's when I first had a PC and internet connection XD ... so, I KNOW I could do it.
Now, I'm an "extreme" type. Meaning that I do something "extremely" or "not at all", reducing something just a little bit is .... very difficult for me. It might be easier to quit completely, but I don't want that. One reason is that this is my "gate" to back home, my friends and family and that I still wanna share my life here in Japan with you guys.
I'm not into online games and I don't use any of the popular interfaces such as "Facebook" or "Myspace" etc. I wonder where does all the time spent on the internet go to and WTH am I doing the whole time?
There aren't that many websites I visit daily. Well, Livejournal for one thing, Poupéegirl, Japanese (study) related websites, Japan news, German news and photography forums lately. That's about it.
Of course, posting an entry like this today also takes a few hours (image preparation included) ....
Doesn't sound too bad, huh? So, I have to figure out how to cut down the time I spent online somehow.
I'm open for ideas, though, I think it wouldn't help much (x___X)>

I think he didn't really like that kind of shooting. To me he's far sexier when he has more clothes on, or is that just me? ;P

Actually it was kind of interesting as I barely hear Japanese people talk about sex, so here we go:
With how many people did you do it? (well they just say "experience" so it doesn't neccesarily mean "sex", I guess)
Majority with 4-8 partners. Quite a lot ... or I think my image of Japanese people's sex life was just completely wrong until now?! XD
When did you have your first experience?
UWOAH! That one got me shocked! Majority 16-18 - thought Japanese people would start later (btw. they're asking women only here!!)
Have you ever had sex with a foreigner? 12% is actually quite a lot, I think. I'm SURE the other way round (if you'd ask the same question Japanese men it would be way less!!!)
Also, the comments on the right are interesting XD For example, that German guys seem to think it's normal that women take the pill and stuff XD - complaints by Japanese women. Well, in most Western countries the pill is just very normal, here in Japan it's still not THAT normal.

Let's get back to my internet obsession and thus to Poupéegirl.
It's gotten more and more evil lately. The newest event is probably one of the BEST and cutest EVER!!!! THE ZOO AND AQUARIUM EVENT!!
I'm a sucker for cute animals as you probably know!!
Right on the first day of the event, I couldn't resist and bought the cat necklace, bag, the penguin and almost all of the other animal bags:
Only 2 animal bags are missing because they were too expensive and I had to save money for:
The limited items this time!!!! Super cute balloons and ...
... cute animals!!! A squirrel on your shoulder, a monkey in your hand and a hugging koala (*___*)
... and .. as you can imagine they were SUPER popular! The first time I was at work and when I came back 3 hours after sales started all were sold out.
The second time was today at 11am (Japanese time) and that was unique in the history of Poupéegirl I think. Probably EVERYBODY was trying to get the items this time - everybody who missed them last time!
That led to a server crash, the site was not loading. 15 minutes later, it finally worked. 11:20, so only 5 min. after it worked the first item was sold out. Shortly before 11:30 EVERYTHING WAS ALREADY SOLD OUT!!! I think that's really WOW!!!! And has never happened before!!!

I thought the 3rd and last time tonight would be similar and went to observe, but it was not. No server crash and now after over 1hr everything is still available. I wonder what happened??!!! Anyway, if you still wanna get some of these cuties, NOW IS YOUR LAST CHANCE SO HURRY!! XD Although it seems that everybody used the 2nd time to buy their stuff, thus it was sold out so fast and now nobody needs it anymore XD
Anyway, I managed to get all 6 items the 2nd time and was happy and broken (no jewels or ribbons anymore XD)
I also managed to WIN AN AUCTION!!! Finally :D See the cute white teddybear hand puppet on the right pic??? It's actually moving, too!! So cute! (*__*)
Now all that's left is one of those hugging bunnies, but for now I have to save up again (x__x)
If you missed the LIMITEDS, don't worry there are also a bunch of cute animals that are not limited ^-^
So far I only got the lion and the penguin. Might buy more when I have ribbons again XD

Yesterday night I FINALLY watched "パコと魔法の絵本" - or "Paco and the Magical Picture Book". It was awesome! I was really surprised! 
I think this is actually a movie I keep so that I can watch it again some other time.
I loved the colors of that movie!! I loved the actors and crazy characters. It's like a modern fairy tale, but actually I don't want to tell you ANYTHING about the movie!
You have to experience it by yourself! That movie lives from its colors, atmosphere, soundtrack and crazy characters. I'm afraid that my words wouldn't come up to the awesomeness of this movie.
Instead, I'll throw some screencaps at you and I hope that they'll lure you <3

A scary nurse and a crazy/gayPeter Pan doc!
The doc is Kamikawa Takaya (you know him as Doc Umeda in Hanakimi) - what shocked me is that I recognized him IMMEDIATELY!! besides his role in there XD)
Scary nurse #2 who's also a vampire?!?! And a yakuza-like guy with Kansai-ben?!
Paco and the magical picture book - obviously!
Is it weird that I love the photo with the rainy window and the frog??? ;o;
Tsumabuki Satoshi in his weirdest role ever??!!! It took me AGES to actually recognize him!!!! GOOD JOB TSU-KUN!!! XD
Did I already mention how MUCH I LOVE the COLORS in this MOVIE????? Watch it and you'll know what I mean :D
