I think the whirlpools in Naruto are too small and not strong/long enough to be dangerous :)

Actually I don't know what it was advertising XD I didn't have time to check it out ;o;
I know. I've forgotten almost all the languages I had to study during my school time as well ;o; .... which is a shame!
