[Japan Travel]: Kobe - Day 3
Hello again

My Kobe trip ends here. On the 3rd day I left for Nara, but until noon I still spent some more time in Kobe, so enjoy! (^-^)/

Kobe - Day 3 (January 4th, 2010):

On my last day I went to Motomachi which is really close to the central Sannomiya station. I went there to visit a nice Japanese garden and China Town (Nankinmachi).
Again, there were quite a lot of Western style buildings and also churches (^-^)v

Completely random shot. I thought that bridge looked interesting enough to stop in the middle of the main road while the traffic light turned red. Yeah, I'm so brave XDDDDD :(;゙゚'ω゚'):

At first I went to Kanteibyo, a Chinese Temple. It took a while to find it, but it was worth it :)
Entrance was free and as it was early in the morning, I was the only one there ^-^

I love how colorful Chinese temples are, although I still prefer Japanese "simple style" shrines and temples ^-^;

The temple was hidden between normal houses, but once you pass by it's easy to recognize because of the bright colors ヾ(´▽`;)ゝ

I took my time there as I still had to wait until 9am which is when the Japanese garden finally opened (^-^'')> ....

Back on my way to the garden, I spotted something German yet again "Maronen Baum" (= chestnut tree).

Finally, I entered the Japanese garden: Sorakuen! And one of the first things I see is yet another Western style building. Not only that ... somehow reminded me of my home country .... soon I noticed WHY!

I guess, that's why (^ー^* )フフ♪

Next to it was another Western style house.

Not really a good photo, but the sun was in my way XDDDD
Again, I think I was the only one in the garden at that time - it was still quite early anyway.

On my way to China Town I found yet another church, quite a big one!

And there we are. Most of the shops still were closed and it's a shame that I couldn't stay until noon to eat Chinese food :/

Cute!!

Very cute vending machines!!!

This is even cuter!!

Byebye China Town! It's a shame that I didn't have more time for you!

Huge, famous shopping arcade. (just passing by of course - no time! Nara was waiting! XD)

At a station I saw this nice photo of the "German House" and because I wasn't able to take a nice photo of it, I thought I just can take a photo of the photo instead ⊂((〃 ̄ー ̄〃))⊃

Back on the "Flower Road" where I already walked along on my first day <3

Uhm ... WTF???!!! XD

German stuff again ... XD

Almost right next to my hotel was a GERMAN bakery, but they were closed from before New Year's Eve until January 3rd, so I couldn't go there ;o; ... now was January 4th and I was on my way back to the hotel to get my luggage and finally catch a train to Nara.
FINALLY they were open, so of COURSE I went in there. Didn't see any German bread, though フ━━━( ´_ゝ`)━━━ン!!

..... still bought stuff for lunchtime (*-*)>

Camera used: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5

And that's it. After that I already sat in the train to Nara. Quite a short train ride. Quite a lot of people so I had to stand (x___x)/
A really short entry this time as it was only half a day. I hope you're looking forward to Nara (*__*)v
