It's time to post about all the things that I couldn't write about in the past few weeks as I was too busy.

About 2 weeks ago I took a study break and went to Miyajima because I didn't want to miss the awesomness that is autumn colors in Japan and the weather that day was so beautiful, too!!!
I shouldn't have gone on a Sunday, though, as it was crowded like WOAH!!!

Anyways, I do not regret going!

Finally I have some time to share them with you!

Altough I sorted them out and it was only one day, I ended up with around 1000 photos!

Right on the ferry I realized that there would be too many people!!! I couldn't move at all and thus I couldn't take a good photo of the gate ;o;

The deer didn't care about the crowd of people around them it seems XD

They seemed to be pretty relaxed actually!
It was tough for me to get a shot of a deer without any people in the way, though. As you can guess people, especially young kids were around them all the time!!

I arrived there shortly before noon and all the food stands got me hungry ;o;
But I brought my own stuff to eat! Food stands were mostly okay, but people were lining up pretty much everywhere else!!!! Scary (O___O'')

It was also crowded around the famous red gate. Luckily I already took plenty of photos in spring, so I didn't worry too much about it XD

Those two were so cute!!!! I wanna have photos taken of me in kimono on Miyajima during spring or autumn, too!!! ;o; ... XD

Really awesome weather that day :)

And one of Miyajima's symbols is a maple leave. Now, guess why?!? ;P

Around the pagoda.

So colorful!! (*_*)v

Yellow meets red.

It was finally time to leave the pagoda (where I had my lunch break).

The farther I went the more awesome it became. However, it was also super crowded (as you can probably see).

Close-up of some leaves (*_*)v

It was really hard to focus on one spot. All around you it was so colorful and awesome!

That bridge was quite crowded, too!

And even here were deer everywhere (*_*)v

You just gotta love the colors! I could have spent hours there!

The deer are not afraid of people AT ALL! XD

See? Crowded! But could have been worse, I guess.

Especially when the sun shines on them, they shine in such bright colors! Soooo beautiful! (*_*)

It really looks like the tree's on fire!!! And I know that for some of these photos it's hard to believe but none of them is photoshopped or anything!!!

Welcome to paradise. Momijidani Park in Miyajima is really awesome in autumn!!! I highly recommend to go there in autumn! Although it was extremely beautiful in spring as well. Just not as colorful ;)

I was really lucky that the sunlight that day was on my side most of the time (*_*)v Awesome light effects in many photos :D

Wow!!! Just wow!! You would think one grows tired of that bright red or something, but believe me when I say that you can NEVER get enough of it!

I totally like this shot through two stone gates (*_*)

Yepp. I was on my way to the ropeway, but I didn't intend to go up to Mt. Misen this time. I was lazy and wanted to walk slowly through the park instead. Also, I've already been on Mt. Misen last time in spring, so no worries.
I can always go next time again if I really want to.

So I continued my journey by just following the awesome colors :D

I think this was one of my favorite spots of the day (*_*)

UWOAH!!!

By the way, there were many people (not only kids!) who were collecting maple leaves to probably take them home :D

Good thing I already decided not to use it, but some of you might remember that I had exactly the same problem in spring ;o; ....
And ENGRISH fail XD

A lot of people were just walking up to the mountain. It's only a 2,5km hike anyways. Had I had more time, I would have done it, too :)

The awesome colors never seemed to stop no matter where I went!

And I absolutely wanted to go on a day with good weather, because the red leaves look SO MUCH better when the sun shines on them, I swear!!!!

I got tired after all that walking and phototaking, so I rested here and had another snack. Around me were a lot of people and deer doing the same.

On my way back I caught these two fighting. Oi! XD

More deer and more awesome colors ;P

Nice view!

Again a tree that looks like it's on fire XD

Nice view and nice weather :)

Again, I spotted the red gate from far away, though it wasn't as easy to get a good shot of it compared to spring!

Wow, this color mix is just beyond awesome!!

And that's the last photo for today!!!

Camera used:
Pentax K-x

I hope you enjoyed it and will be looking forward to part 2 - the second half of the day until after sunset

Not sure when I'll be able to put up the next part, hopefully soon. Still very busy (am I ever not busy?
