Yeah, I think I understand. First, there's the whole kanji thing you have to memorize. Then the honorifics (not too bad, I've got those down). But Japanese is just so different compared to English. Spanish you've got cognates, at least, but the way the sentences are set up and the way the words are formed...just a whole different ballpark.

However, I do agree that learning a different language is fun. I'm looking forward to the challenge!
