I'm just using the film maker's reasoning. *shrug* It's not my opinion at all.

No. Anyone who's studied WWII and Hitler knows that the Treaty of Versallies and it's effects on Germany during the 1930s is what gave Hitler the ablility to rise to power and how WWII began. As my history teacher has always said, "World War II is just a huge sequel to World War I. Except that more people died."
