[Japan]: Monster insects nightmare! ;o;
Hullo.

When I came back from work yesterday night, this is what was greeting me in the staircase of my apartment building:

This is the smaller one. Probably a little bit smaller than the hand of an adult.

This is the larger one. Definitely as big as an adult's hand, maybe even a little bit bigger ;o;

I told you I hate summer in Japan mainly for the monster insects, right?
I came across one of those huge spiders last year. It was INSIDE at my workplace. So horrible!!!

I hope they're not poisonous, but what really freaks me out is that the bigger one seems to protect her eggs. EGGS!!!! = 2342523123 more monster spiders to come!!!!
If they're still here when I leave for work in a few minutes, maybe I should ask the apartment management to do something about it??
It can't be my job to get rid of them. Furthermore I'm too scared! It was hard enough for me to get close enough to take those photos!!!
I don't hate spiders and I'm not afraid of them, but if they're THAT big??!! Jesus!!! ;o;

I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep last night, knowing that they're only a few meters away!!!
Definitely not going to open any windows or doors in the next few weeks!!! ;o;

Okay, off to work!

OH MY GOD.

That is... so creepy!!

*shivers*

I definitely wouldn't be able to sleep. I would buy bug spray in the morning and drown it in it until it dies. Seriously, I wouldn't be able to do anything else until it was dead.

Ew. Ew. Ewwwww.

I once saw one as big inside the bathtub of a house I was staying at for the night. I expelled it through the window with a towel a la Indiana Jones.

omg! I dont even think I would have been able to walk passed it. I run away almost every bug except ants, butterflies, and lightning bug *when i realize its one*
If you cant afford to buy any spider spray use a squirt bottle that has bleach and warm water in it. Someone told me that kills bugs really good.
You should def tell the owner cuz if it did lay eggs then everyone will have a problem. Plus Im sure they dont want a lawsuit if anyone gets bitten.

No choice!! That's the only way into my apartment ;o; But they didn't move at all when I passed by, otherwise I wouldn't have dared to go back to take photos! XD

When I went to work today they were already gone ^-^;

Ahhhhhh I HATE spiders!! And those ones are sooooo frightening D:

I haven't seen any of those but up here we get tons of creepy black and yellow ones... not usually seen them indoors but once there was one on the door to the trash bin and I would NOT open the door.... wanted someone to kill it for me but luckily next time I was there someone had already gotten rid of it.... I was so happy.... I hit my head on one of the webs for the black and yellow spiders once and it made a crunchy noise and didn't even break a strand D: and I was so relieved the spider didn't touch me but I kept freaking out and feeling my head for ages afterward.

I am all for animals etc helping the plant and us, of course, but insects: NO. That is one big rule in my life. NO INSECTS NEARBY ME.
