No I didn't see the anime nor th OAV, just read the manga ^^
I don't hate Miaka. I just don't like what the author did with her. Miaka is cool because she eats too much, she is stupid, that's why she looks like a real girl haha! But then, there is this everyone-falls-with-me thing that is just too much. Anyway, it's Watase's fantasy: in (almost) every manga of her there is the same scheme: girl in love + problems + but will end up with the one she loves anyway. XDDDD That's why sometimes I'm getiing tired of Watase (my favorite of her is Imadoki: sweet, a cute heroin and it doesn't takes years for the characters to be together XDDD)

But you´re right, it´s always the same. Ok, I´ve only read Alice 19th, Imadoki, Eppo Mai, Ayashi no Ceres, Zettai Kareshi some shortstories and Fushigi Yuugi - so I don´t know ALL of her works :)

I don't think so. I love Tasuki as he is in the manga, and that includes his not liking Miaka. It was cool that some of the characters weren't in love with her (and more realistic by the way haha). And it was so not his thing to like girls! (well, that doesn't mean I'm assuming he is gay or something but...) That's why when he tries to rape her in the second part of the manga, I hated Watase -_- The manga was nice as it was til 13th wolume, I didn't like the second part (I didn't even read the whole part, because I was so digusted with the story with Tasuki ;_;)
Haha! Maybe we're getiing too old for her works indeed ^^ But I also like to read her stories.
I've the read the same ones except Eppo Mai, I only read the beginning! ;_; It was really nice, I loved the stupid guy the heroin was in love with XDDD (and guys are also Watase's problem: always the same kind! XD) And I've also read Appare Jipangu (published in France) and this one is soooo funny! It takes place in the Edo period but it totally stupid! XD There are some robots for exemple XD The heroin is nice and the male character is fabulous! For once it's not the same kind as Tamahome/Kyou/Touya etc... He has fair and long hair! ^^ And he is totally short-sighted so when he doesn't have his glasses he can't recognize people and that's so funny! XD Well, I like this one, but it is really short ;_; Maybe she was planning to make it longer but it wasn't a big success?

Well, this is hard to explain, because I don´t want to spoil XD I think Tasuki does not love Miaka, well ok he loves her, but not like a lover XDDDD do you understand what I mean ? And the pictures where Tasuki is getting so close to Miaka *drools* *coughs* are from a time when he is manipulated by an evil person ^^;; .... but I HATED Miaka´s behaviour then somehow .. she TOTALLY rejected Tasuki ;__; .... *sigh* XDDDD *just kidding* - but why is everyone trying to rape her ? *points at Nakago* XDD
But ok I see - this story is ALMOST the same as in the manga, too ! A bit different, but still pretty the same - so you wouldn´t like it XD

Ah yes Appare Jipangu ^^ I´ve only read some chapters :( ... and it is not (yet) released in Germany ^^;
