[Hiking]: Jägerkamp (1746 m) and Aiplspitz (1759 m) => Oct 31
Hello!

Sunday was a busy day, but a very good day.
I felt fit enough to do a full-fledged hike.
Mind you, it might be the last one of the year.

The weather was absolutely beautiful, so it was extremely crowded.
I wasted over half an hour being in traffic jams and trying to find a parking lot, but it was all worth it as you'll see in a second.

Right from the start I was greeted with stunning autumn colors.

After hiking through the forest for quite a while I finally got out and had this lovely view onto Spitzingsee.

Up, up we go.

I did this hike alone like 99% of my hikes. But I wasn't alone as it was quite busy on that day.
I thought everybody would stay home, being busy with Halloween preps, but I was obviously oh so wrong!

But I can't blame the people. Just look at these stunning views!

Approaching the first summit which you can already see in the distance.
The trail was marked as "black" which means "difficult". There were a few passages where one wrong step could have killed you, so I guess it's justified....

Did I ever mention that I'm afraid of heights? ^^; ....

I try not to think too much about it. Most of the time, I'm doing just fine and the views are always worth it!

And then I finally reached the summit: Aiplspitz (1759 m).

That's also where I had my lunch break with stunning views even all the way to Schliersee in the distance.

One last glance and I was on my way to the second summit of the day.

It was very stormy that day, so I constantly had to take off layers or put them on again. Very annoying. ^^;

The trail to the second peak was marked as "blue" which means easy. And it really was. :)

And then I reached the 2nd and last summit of the day: Jägerkamp (1746 m).

You could go on to hike along here, but I really needed to get going. We switched back to winter time on that very day and the sun would be down by around 5 p.m.
Plus ... I had to get back in time for a Halloween party! ^^;

From there you got full view onto Schliersee. Isn't it beautiful with it's tiny island in the middle? :)

Hiking back down with these stunning views was awesome!

Couldn't get enough of the sight. All those green plants you see in the pictures are typical for mountains around here. They're called "Latschen" in German. :)

See? The sun was almost gone by the time I got down!

In the distance you can still see the first summit I had climbed today.

What a great autumn day! I'm so happy that I was fit enough again to do it.
The weather turned really bad starting from November 1st and it also started snowing in the mountains yet again, so this might have been the last chance for hiking this year.
If there is another chance, I'll go once more, obviously, but we'll see. :)

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

On my way back, I also was stuck in a traffic jam.
I just quickly refreshed, changed clothes and was off to a Halloween party.
Photos of that party will follow soon!

Thanks for reading.

Bye~chuu!~

Yes, me too. It really looks like that was the last time ... unless I finally find myself some proper hiking shoes that I can use in snow fields. ^^;
I did some flatland hikes this weekend, but it's just not the same.

Based on these stunning views, I would say the traffic jams were well worth it!

Yes, that's for sure. I still wish it wouldn't always take so long to get to the mountains.
I'm just very spoiled from my home region where I'm so quick in the mountains and never ever any traffic jams. ^^;
