[Japan Life]: The Zombie is BaCk!~~
Huuulooooooooooooo~~~~~ *crawls around* ...........

If I sound a bit scary or like a ghost or zombie, then that's exactly what I am recently, I guess.
Thus the lack of posts or being present on LJ at all!! I'm very sorry, but it can't be helped.

I'm back into zombie mode, worse than ever before, I guess.

I've been working on my blog desperately for the past 3.5 months ....... and I'm still not done!
I should have done it like most people do, just start out somehow and work on layout, plugins, javascript and stuff LATER!!??!!! (-___-'') ....

Well, I think I should be done in 1-2 weeks, at least I really, really, REALLY hope so! At first (back in June!!) I thought it would take me 1-2 weeks until I'm done with the layouting and before I can start my actual blog.
After a month or so, I figured how naive I was.
I hate being a perfectionist, this is really annoying!

I hope I have the strength and energy to see this through until the end. Honestly, I'm close to burning out at the moment!
As much fun as it can be to learn new things about Javascript and CSS - I don't really care about these things and just wanna get started.

I've been wanting to quit several times wondering if it's really worth all this work, time, effort and MONEY!!!! ...

Oh well, I'm just posting to let you know that I'm still around (more or less) and that I'll hopefully recover from the infamous zombie mode soon!!

Actually there's a LOT of things I need to tell you! Of course, a lot of things happened in the past few weeks. Nothing too major. Stuff concerning my stay in Japan and for how much longer I'll stay and stuff and a lot more.

Anyways, I really hope I'll get my life back soon!
Working a full-time job and then coming home, working on a blog the rest of your free time (for many MONTHS) can really get to you. My sleeping rythm and basically my whole lifestyle have turned into something really unhealthy, too.
DO NOT WANT!!!

Well, almost done, almost done. A few minor CSS improvements, trying to get some javascript issues out of the way and then create real content!!! Also, need to change webhosts one of these days (which will cost me 30$ more per year -__- ... ahahaha~ ... for what am I doing this again? x___X ....)
Seriously I need a break from all this, but on the other hand I wanna get this done and off of my shoulders ASAP!!!

Sometimes when my eyes just hurt too much or I simply can't concentrate anymore I watch this season's dramas. Haven't watched dramas in a long time, but they're actually all pretty good!
Watching "Ikemen desu ne", "IS", "Don Quixote", "Ouran Host Club" and "Soredemo ikite yuku"! (don't spoil me, I'm not up to the latest episodes!! XD)
And after year(s)!?! of not watching anime anymore, I totally fell in love with "Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi" ('_')b ....

Oh, and because I just cannot NOT post any photos after being absent for such a long time, here we go:

Okonomiyaki bread! Absolutely awesome and yummie!!!

Yummie desert that looks like an egg. Was very yummie as well with white chocolate (but very too sweet!)

Hehe. Super yummie and nice design, don't you think? I already ate them quite a while ago, so I can't even remember what kind of filling they had, but it was yummie!

Alright, that's all for now. No travel photos, no travel entries, nothing. Just confusing zombie mumbling!!!

Sore deha, shitsurei shimasuuuuu~~~~ ヘ(ΘΘ)ヘ

Well, I know less than you about all that, so I admire your persistence. Best of luck! Ganbatte!

If you want a moment's reprieve from your work, before getting into a drama, go visit my blog, I have posted my photos from my recent trip to Romania and Bulgaria.

I only knew a little HTML and CSS from using it here on LJ, so .... creating your own theme if you don't know what you're doing takes forever, yes -__-
Thanks!! :3333

I saw your photos and I loved them! I just didn't have time to comment! Sorry ;__;

When I pressed submit poll, it told me I wasn't permitted to see the poll, so I don't know if it submitted! D: (I use firefox and yes I have Java enabled)

I missed your posts!

Thanks dear :)
I just noticed it doesn't work, too! LJ is really annoying with polls! x___X
I created a new entry with the poll and now it works.

Best browser settings btw.! :33

websites create un-necessary stress :(
dealing with hosting problems, wordpress problem..etc..
I decided I just want to blog and moved my blog to a free site (blogger)~ it's got a lot of restriction like less space for uploaded photos (but that's ok..there's photobucket anyway)

what kind of platform do you use? and whoah $30 hosting space T-T

[identity profile] chochajin.livejournal.com on October 3rd, 2011 01:17 am (UTC)
It is :( .... but I already have livejournal and always wanted to move to something that is truly my own ..... although it can be a lot of work and trouble ...

Platform? Wordpress.
Or did you mean hosting service? Currently ipage which is about 4$ per month, but like I said I wanna move. The more expensive host would be over 7$ per month. Then I also need to get a good image host. Possibly Flickr ... premium account is a bit more than 2$ per month .. byebye money ;__;

Well hello fellow zombie ^__^ good to know I'm not alone these days.
But seriously, sounds like you've had loads of work. I usually end up the same way, at first I think that this and this can be done in a few days or weeks, and it ends up taking waaaay longer XDDD That's what's happened to my thesis after all ;____; But I'm sure when you get the blog done it'll be rewarding ^_^ I'm really looking forward to the finished result (I know nothing about html, CSS or what's-it-called, so I could never be able to pull this off myself!) Just don't beat yourself up too much ;)

That okonomiyaki bread looks sooo delicious <3 All these days I only keep dreaming about Japan and how much I want to go there and eat delicious food XD

*sigh* I hope we both can come back to normal life soon x___X
It should be finished soon (so not perfect at all, e.g. layout looks horrible in very old browser versions, some javascript doesn't work properly etc.) - at some point I just have to call it a day and stop.

Hehe ^-^

Good luck with your blog! I'm sure all of your time spent on it will be worth it! ^__~

I also love Sekaiichi Hatsukoi (more than Junjou Romantica ;P). I'm in love with the main couple! Takano!~ ♥

I want to watch some doramas too (like Ouran and IS), but I'm very busy right now! I've started to study again because I couldn't find work of the field I studied (damn crisis! T__T) and in the afternoons I'm volunteering in the library of my village. Maybe in Christmas vacations? ^__^

This food look so yummy! I want to go to Japan to taste all its food! :3

Take care! *hugs* :D

I sure hope you're right!! (T___T)

Me2! Junjou Romantica was nice, but Hatsukoi makes me laugh much more XD
I like the main couple, too. And what do we learn from that series??? All men working in the shoujo manga business are gay! XDDDD

You're busy, too?? ;___;
I sure hope you can watch some of them once you have more time :D

Thanks *hugs back* :33

Nice to see your post back!

I hope you do finish your blog soon so you can have a rest. I'm too lazy to update my own travel blog so I left it as it is for how many months already.

Never forget the real reason behing a blog - are you doing it for yourself? Or others?
It should be something that you enjoy, not something you are forced to do. If you aren't enjoying it, then leave it for a while and "cool off", so you can start enjoying it again after a while.

Why create and keep a blog if you are suffering even before you've started it?

I hope I didn't offend you or sound rude, but I someone helped me with these same words when I was working on a project and I was having the same trouble as you are having now.
Don't push yourself too hard...

[identity profile] chochajin.livejournal.com on October 3rd, 2011 01:24 am (UTC)
I know. You don't know how many times I asked myself these questions.
When I go into zombie mode I just don't question what I'm doing and just do it until I think it's perfect. That was good when I was still in school, but nowadays it's not ... *sigh*
I'll be off for a short trip to Kansai this week, so I hope that will refresh my brain and give me enough energy to finish off the rest :)

I know, it's so stupid, but I keep telling myself that I'm soon finished, so it would be stupid to give up. And once I'm producing content and sharing my photos I'm doing what I actually enjoy again so I hope it'll be okay :/

No, not rude at all. Bullseye, honestly!! :)
Thank you so much for caring!!!!

Blogging
Hi! I sent you an e-mail with a link to a blog you might like. Not sure I still have the correct addresses. Please advise!

I see so many different kinds of blogs out there. Are you attempting to build one from "scratch?" Seems like a lot of sites offer templates to make it easy. I even end up in LJ sometimes, surfing around.

Anyway,good luck!

Re: Blogging
See my other comment.

Yes, I build mine from scratch using a parent theme as reference, simply because I wanted to create something unique - which just doesn't work if you're using a common template.

Hope you'll like the blog and come over to read from time to time once it's finished! :)

Hi, chochajin-san! ヽ(●^▽^●)ノ

First of all, let me say please take care of yourself. (。ノ_・。)
Now people are very prone to catching a cold because of the turn of the season (´;д;`)

Anyway, まだ、作業が少し残っているみたいですが、新しいブログの開設作業お疲れ様です!(I always have trouble with conveying the word "お疲れ様" in English. ^^;)

I watched "Ikemen desune", too~! But I prefer original one♪ Have you ever seen? I strongly recommend this! v(`ゝω・´)

Okonomiyaki bread ∑(゚д゚*)!? This is very fun! LOL I know yakisoba bread but I didn't hit on it. Nice idea, isn't it? XDD

The third photo looks like a Japanese sweet for the equinoctial week. Is it so? :)

Hello!!!~❤

I know. A lot of my students are already sick, too. (x___X)
There's no really a similar expression for "お疲れ様" in English. "You did a good job." - maybe.

The original one?? I didn't even know about that. Is the original one also a Japanese drama??

Maybe that's what kind of sweets they were, I really can't remember now! ^-^;;

Thanks so much :33

The original of this drama is from Korea. Jang Geun Seok is appeared to the drama and became very popular in Japan! He is so cool (*'∀'*)❤

Now my mother is crazy about him, too. XD LOL

Thank you for the inspiration and get some rest!
